Canon BR-E2 Bluetooth Wireless Remote

About Canon BR-E2 Bluetooth Wireless Remote

The Canon BR-E2 Bluetooth Remote provides wireless camera control for a wide range of select Canon cameras, delivering an expanded set of functions beyond simple shutter release. With a 16.4' / 5 m operating range over Bluetooth, the Canon BR-E2 Bluetooth Remote allows photographers and videographers to trigger shots, control video recording, adjust autofocus, change exposure compensation, and operate the power zoom function of compatible lenses – all from a distance.

Expanded wireless control
The BR-E2 goes well beyond a basic remote trigger. It starts and stops video recording, takes photos, activates autofocus, adjusts exposure compensation, and controls the power zoom function on compatible Canon lenses. Two user-assignable function buttons can be mapped to frequently used controls for a customized wireless shooting experience. The remote can also be switched between compatible cameras without unlinking or re-pairing, making it efficient to use across multiple bodies.

Compact and easy to carry
Weighing just 0.6 oz / 17 g, the BR-E2 is small enough to slip into a pocket or clip to a camera bag without adding any meaningful bulk to a kit. It runs on a single CR2032 lithium battery, which is included in the box. The BR-E2 is also included as part of the Canon Creator Accessory Kit II alongside the HG-200TBR Tripod Grip and DM-E100 Directional Microphone.

Compatible Canon cameras
The BR-E2 is compatible with the Canon EOS R1, R3, R5 Mark II, R6 Mark II, R6 Mark III, R6 V, R7, R8, R10, R50, R50 V, R100, EOS M50 Mark II, PowerShot G7 X Mark III, PowerShot G5 X Mark II, and PowerShot V1.
