Kit Main Item Description: Capture ultra-smooth video on the go with the FDR-AX43A UHD 4K Handycam from Sony. This compact camcorder features a built-in gimbal with Balanced Optical SteadyShot image stabilization and a low-light Exmor R CMOS image sensor to produce crisp, high-quality UHD 4K video or 16.6MP still photos. Record up to UHD 4K video at 24 or 30 fps using Sony's XAVC S codec at rates up to 100 Mb/s or up to 50 Mb/s 1080p HD video. Fast, intelligent autofocus tracks your subjects while keeping them sharp, and the ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* zoom lens features a 20x optical/30x digital zoom in 4K and up to 250x digital zoom in HD.
The FDR-AX43A's Dual Video mode enables you to record MP4 movies simultaneously with your XAVC S 4K video, perfect for playback on your phone and faster uploading to your network or the web. The Dual Video Mode also enables the use of the Highlight Movie Maker, a one-button function that creates a highlight reel of your footage you can quickly play back at an event. A 4K time-lapse mode can be used to condense your adventures or capture stunning nature or atmospheric sequences. For monitoring your shots from behind the camera or from the front when using the camera for vlogging, the 3" 921K tilting touchscreen LCD is ideal for selfie-style shooting and for all other shot composition options. Simply flip the screen to its open position and power is automatically turned on, giving you access to the camera's settings menu for fast and easy operation. For large-screen playback, use the HDMI output port for connecting a larger screen. You can even 'trim' a selected portion of a 4K video or image frame to fill the screen with Full HD quality. For enhanced connectivity, the FDR-AX43A is Wi-Fi enabled, offering one-touch remote control and sharing using your compatible smartphone.
The FDR-AX43A camcorder features a range of automatic image and audio options for easy point-and-shoot operation as well as enhanced manual controls that offer greater creative freedom for advanced users. An assignable ring on the front of the camcorder can be assigned to control of zoom, focus, exposure, iris, shutter speed, exposure, or white balance. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack is included for powering the camcorder, along with an AC adapter, micro-HDMI cable, and micro-USB cable.
